Frequently Asked Questions
What Types of Events Do You Provide Professional Event Lighting for in Our Local Area?
We provide professional event lighting for weddings, corporate events, private parties, graduations, and large outdoor celebrations. Our team designs custom lighting layouts for venues, backyards, barns, and commercial spaces throughout metro Atlanta. Services include string lighting, uplighting, pathway lighting, and focal accent lighting to create a safe, visually stunning atmosphere for any special event.
How Far in Advance Should I Book Event Lighting for a Wedding or Large Event?
You should book event lighting at least 30 days in advance to secure your preferred event date. Spring and fall weekends typically fill four to eight weeks early in our local service area. Booking early allows proper design planning, equipment reservation, and coordination with planners, venues, and other vendors for a smooth setup.
Can You Install Event Lighting at Private Homes or Outdoor Venues?
Yes, we regularly install event lighting outdoors at private homes, backyards, farms, and outdoor venues. Our team handles secure mounting, temporary power solutions, and safe wiring, using weather-rated gear built for changing weather conditions. We design lighting layouts for patios, tents, trees, and walkways without damaging landscaping or structures.
Do You Handle Setup and Removal After the Event?
Yes, you're covered from setup through removal: our event lighting service includes full installation, on-site testing, and complete removal after your event. Setup is typically completed 24–48 hours before the event date, and removal occurs within one day after the event. This turnkey service means zero cleanup responsibilities for hosts, and in most cases, we can accommodate special schedule requests.

How Can Lighting Enhance Wedding Décor?
Candelabras and candle holders with flameless LED candles or traditional candles add flickering warmth and depth to wedding décor. LED submersible lights placed inside glass vases for centerpieces create a radiant, shimmering ambiance, and string lights overhead build the cozy, romantic atmosphere most couples are after.
How Does Lighting Affect the Atmosphere and Functionality of an Event?
Proper event lighting involves several key factors affecting both mood and function. Checking power supply availability at the venue allows all lighting requirements to be safely managed. Task lighting provides focused illumination for specific activities. Read our blog and learning center for more guides on event lighting design and tips, helping guests and staff move through the evening easily. Color temperature also plays a significant role: warm colors create intimate, cozy settings for relaxed or romantic events, while cool colors convey a modern, energetic feel suited to livelier occasions.
What Lighting Types Should Be Layered at an Event?
Layered lighting combines ambient, accent, and task lighting. Ambient is the base layer providing general visibility across the room. Accent lighting draws attention to focal points like floral arrangements, logos, or architectural details. Task lighting covers specific functions—bars, registration tables, and service areas. Most rooms need all three, and skipping the ambient layer is the most common reason a heavily lit event still looks flat.
Will the Lighting Look the Same in Photos as It Does in Person?
Not always, which is why we design for both. Lighting can appear differently on camera than to the naked eye, so we calibrate our fixtures to look great both in person and in photos. Podium areas are lit brightly enough to prevent harsh shadows during recordings, and pin spotting keeps cakes, centerpieces, and tables reading clearly in your photographer's shots.
